Default Why does everyone complain about dealer washing car?

i had my 10k service today with Bell Audi, and they offered to detail mine while i was gone.. sure enough, i got back and the car had all my swirls gone and was looking hot in the snow. first time i've let them do it, wish i had let them before.

Default My car was flawless when I took it to my dealer. Told them not to wash it

got it back there was scratch marks in the paint from where ever they washed it and it took me forever to get it to look like it did when I took it there. That is why i tell them not to wash it.

I let them do it --- ONCE--then after the scratch in the fender I just say no! (it polished out)

Seriously, the brush they use looks like what I use to sweep the garage floor!

Because they use cheap products and reuse rags and towels...that crap isn't touching my paint.

Default My car gets a wash at the dealer almost every Saturday.....Not a scratch anywhere !!!!!!

They do a great job. Fresh soap and water everytime, a clean lambs wool type cloth to wash, and then a clean shammy to dry. They clean all the little nooks and crannies in the wheels, and even clean the painted calipers. Great guys at Northland.

Default Nice, didn't know that they had that. I guess I will let them wash my car during its next scheduled

appointment there, this coming week in fact. Do they use fresh towels each time they dry or is it all dried using compressed air?
