Why would new tires make more horsepower on the dyno?

there's no evidence the dyno graph displayed even belongs to the car in the video. That could very well be tire company propaganda. If they were to put together propaganda like that, they wouldn't list the company name (and turn it into direct marketing) because that would give them away. That explains the absence of an obvious brand or tire model in here. This video is designed to inspire credibility even though it's complete bull****.

a slightly difference. For example since I run 19" wheels, I've noticed different tire weights between brands. Like the Falken FK452s in 235/35/19 weighed in around 26lbs where as Toyo Proxes4 were in the 22lbs range. Some tires are taller than others, etc....I can't see it making a huge difference, but there could be something. Eh....don't listening to me, I'm suffereing from hunger. LOL
