APR intercoolers = RS4 intercoolers with fancy hoses for too much money.

Default Actually, the APR hose kit flows better than the AWE setup...

...so the negligable difference in volume between the RS4 cooler cores and AWE cooler cores is negated when using the APR hose kit. They're truly about the same. People used to say that the AWE units required less cutting, but that difference is also negligable as well. I had AWE units on my sedan, and I have RS4 units with APR hoses on my Avant. I say get either solution, and choose according to cost and availability at the time of purchase. (At the time, I was able to get a set of RS4 coolers for about $620, and the APR hoses for $200 or so. RS4 coolers come from Europe, so it's all about exchange rates.)

Default I would wait just a little longer and consider the ASP FMIC...

My understanding is that they will be available for public consumption soon and have the data needed to help qualify their performance.

Default Best is subjective. Personally, the data ive seen on the RS4s place them a little more

effective than AWE. However, they are a pain in the butt to install, AWE is plug and play. Which brings us to price. My RS4s and Silicone hoses come in at under $900 bucks.
