Wife thinks H&R coilovers are too stiff. Wife replaceable, coilovers not... :)

I just installed H&R coilovers today and setup the car 25.25 all around.. When I first drove the car the front suspension makes a lot of noise.. Everytime I go over a bump I the front suspension makes loud clunking noise? Do you have that on your setup also? Thanks!

They make a good thump over larger asphalt cracks, but they seem to absorb the bump well. I guess now that you mention it, they are louder then stock. They don't make any squeks or rattles like others have mentioned, though. I really like them so far, but my wife doesn't......she's used to driving a squashy jeep grand cherokee.

but I can't complain too much I got them for free.
the sound has been there from day 1 and nothing bad has happened and you get use to it :|

After we got on the highway she thought the S4 rode a lot better. It's little road irregularities and bumps at slow speed that make lowering annoying. The coilovers make highway cruising much better though. We rode around in a friends Maxima the other day and she said my S4 felt more "secure" because it doesn't float around so much at high speed. After that statement I won't change back.
