Will 24 PSI spike on K04s cut back their lifespan ??

then I realized I was being an ****-retentive fvcktard.
I get into boost a bit as soon as coolant temp goes to the middle of the gauge and I go WOT as soon as the oil temp gauge starts to move at all to the left.
After getting my oil analyzed by Blackstone Labs, I've learned I can get 5-6K miles (including track events) between changes without the slightest issue.

which is dependent on airflow. You'd have to run the numbers but I'm fairly certain that 24 psi in the lower rpms (3k-4k rpms) when you first spool correlates to lower shaft speed than 21 psi at redline. Therefore, I'd be less concerned with initial boost spikes than boost levels above 6k rpm (although high boost spikes can cause other problems). Refer to the K04 efficiency map for guidance.
