VMR B7 RS4 Reps with either Bridgestone Potenza RE050A Pole Positions or Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3.
I am looking more towards the Potenza's but for some odd reason they don't come in 235/40R18.

245/35 would be a much better fit. But even still with an ET 38 and 18x8.5 inch wide rims you'd probably still need to roll.

I'll know in a few days because I'll be installing 18x 8.5 Work Emotions, ET 43, with 245/35. STFA revieled that I just needed to run 5mm spacers (giving me ~ an ET 38) to clear the uprights. But I had to roll the fenders. *crossing fingers* we'll see in a few days. But I don't forsee any issues since more than one person ran this setup.

I rubbed a little with 235/40 when I had my Stasis Streetsports at 25.5" but now with the Vogtland GTs at the same height I don't.

I'm planning on running 235/40/18s on B6 Avus wheels (45mm offset) with a 5mm spacer at 25.25" ride height on the Vogtland GTs.

Only while going hard into a corner and hitting a dip. The higher spring rate of the GTs has eliminated that.
You sure you're not going to hit the control arms with 235/40 at ET40?

djillusion has been running 235/40/18s on the B6 Avus wheels with a 5 mm spacer and has had no rubbing. He's really the only member who's experience I'm going on. I'll probably buy the tires and get them mounted and then see what kind of space constraints I have if I try to mount them w/o spacers and then go from there.
