Default Ballah! No wonder you were suddenly too good for the Cronos.

Which reminds me...do you remember what size rubber MarkP had on his? I'd like to go 235's at least.

Congrats on the Works!

Default I run 245/40/18 on my 18x9 ET38 with ZERO rubbing. The car is ~25" (edit) to the fender in the rear

gotta love internet engineers. :-)

you CAN run them on an 8.5

Default Yes, if your ride height is high enough. I just put on the same tire and wheel width with

an ET of 42 or 43 and it required a 4mm spacer to clear the inner rear suspension.

I also had them roll the front inner fender - I had tried cutting back an inch of the plastic liner, since I was rubbing under suspension compression with my street tires of 235/40/18 on 18x8, ET 35. My ride height is 25.625/25.75.

Default Marks got 225/45 on his chrono's

I was gonna go with 235/40 Kuhmo MX's on the Chrono's. Wider, same price and I think they were slightly lighter too.

Thanks! :-) I can't wait to get them on. I'll definitely be takin some pictures when it's all put together.

Default 34.75? You mean 24.75 fender to ground?

You still running the Koni M-sports? If so, how'd you manage to get it to 24.75 in the rear?

I'm at 25 1/4 and wanna drop it another 1/4 at least, but it's lookin like I wont have enough threads for the lock ring. Hopefully just having a perch and no lock ring wont cause any problems :-x

for a split second

my ride height was 25 1/4 front, 25" rear

with stasis track sports 800/900

Default LOL@typo, i fixed it. This was on my A4 with street sports

I just measured again and perhaps I was on uneven ground as its sitting around 25" right now. *shrugs*

Those are the 245/40/18s in question and have never rubbed. I have some 255/35/18s i will be replacing them with :-) just waiting to roll the **** out of my fenders so the fronts will fit. They DO rub.

Ahh gotcha. So the 34.75" fender to ground was for a stock A4 :-p
