Will aftermarket speakers work with factory HU (non-bose)? Underpowered?

the rear deck. You can get away with 5 1/4 in the doors.
2 ohm speakers are:
1st, Extremely hard to find.
2nd, Even harder to find in the size(s) you need.
3rd, 2 ohm speakers are more for competition systems, and generally in the 10' sub-woofers and bigger.
4th, They are going to be very expensive if you are able to actually find some.
As stupid as it sounds, it is cheaper to go with after market products from the HU all they way to speakers. Amps, etc...
Google "2ohm component speakers", and go from there.
I wish I could give you direction, but the one and only place I knew to have what we need doesn't have them anymore.
Your best bet is actually going to high end home theater stores and asking for 2 ohm component speakers.

Oh, you can use 4 ohm speakers, but the sound levels will be extremely low and not agreeable with the crappy Blose amp for too long....
