Will disconnecting N249 & vac reservoir just throw DTC/CEL or will
it cause actual problems? Check valve broke and I'm trying to bypass the N249. Epoxy didn't hold =(

Are you sure? There are plenty of people that do the "N249 delete". Maybe if you disconnect it....
electrically it goes into limp mode, but, I believe you can take it out of the loop physically and leave it connected electrically without any problems.
