I'm trying to help a friend diagnose a problem with his S4 and want to know if we can swap ECUs just as a test.
Will his 2000 S4 run with my 2001 (H-box) ECU? Both cars are 6 speed.

There is a major code change between the A and H/M ECU's... has to do with all kinds of other parameters being checked/used when at WOT, etc..
*shrug* I guess we'll see

but externally it's using the same sensors and engine. Eh we'll see, and no matter what wrong or right I can't use an any ME7 ECU in my car
