Default No, that's not going to cut it.

That's just masking tape...it would be like covering your front bumper with newspaper.

www.carcareonline.com carries racer's tape. If you have any speed shops near you, it's worth a try. For my own part, I'm just going to order it from larry...I don't feel like running around trying to find the stuff. He has a low adhesive variety as well. Not sure if it sticks well enough to be effective.

Default Or...

maybe you can use the blue (low adhesive) masking tape to create a protective layer and then apply duct tape over the masking tape. That should provide protection while allowing for easy removal. I haven't tried this personally - so I can't vouch for effectiveness.

http://www.carcareonline.com/detail.asp?product_id=20150</a

Default I use regular silver duct tape for the glass. --->

For the whole front of the car you may consider a Bra. Takes up to 90 sec to load. Page 7.

http://www.colgancustom.com/support/appl_catalog/catalogsupp.pdf</a

I just don't want to damage my paint, have you used the stuff from CCS before?

Default No. If there was an issue with damaging the paint, I doubt larry would sell the stuff.

There have been complaints that the adhesive is hard to clean up, which was the reason for the "low adhesive". Clues' suggestion is a good one...though it'll take a bit of time to execute. The only issue is rain...if it rains, it'll all peel right off. I find that the low adhesive masking tape just doesn't stick at all when exposed to moisture.
