Why don't you try this: delete the DTCs and drive only in stock mode. See if any too rich DTCs come back.

With VAG-COM open the engine controller, then click on measuring blocks 08, then type in 32.
In VAG-COM short hand this would be 001-08-032.

OK, will do. Thanks for the info. Threw a cel last nite and have the same DTC codes, minus the intermittent message and of course only 5lbs boost.

The block 032 is reporting that the engine is running very rich above idle speeds. The Partial adaptation of minus 20+ is trying to lean out the too rich mixture. Idle adaptation is within an acceptable range and is OK.
The question is why is the engine running ok at idle and too rich above idle speeds? I would guess the "fix" is going too be some expensive sensors. Do you have anyone that you can swap or trade for a test of the EGT sensors on your engine?

If you are getting rich in both banks, I'd check the fuel system first starting with the fuel pressure regulator. You can get a mechanical fuel gage for way less than an O2 sensor even and be sure your fuel pressure is correct. If your fuel pressure regulator has failed causing this overly rich condition, changing EGTs won't do anything but empty your wallet.

It might be the EGTs, but it could just as easily be the FPR.
Actually EGTs are presently more than 40% off. So they are in o2 sensor striking range - for anyone wanting replacement EGTs at 41% off - click me. I can see egt's causing this issue but I too like to error on the side of caution.

I think the next step here is to check fuel pressure at the rail with a mechanical gauge and diagnose the FPR.

Thanks Peter! I don't realy have another set of EGTs I can test with. I think I'll go with the FPR and guage from ECS. If that doesnt do it I'll go for the EGTs. I'll let everyone know the outcome.

If the fuel pressure regulator were a problem then I would expect that block 032 would show a rich adaptation
adjustment at idle as well as partial which it does not. I am betting on EGT sensors being needed.
