Default I had mine in the shop all day last Friday for that.

I thought they fixed it, then looked at the receipt and they couldn't find a leak, filled it up, and the fluid was gone the next day. ARGH! Sorry, I'm still under warranty; no idea how much it costs. Also, I think mine might be a cracked hose or other leak path. I guess my point is, good luck getting it fixed the first time at the shop!

Same thing happened to me. Took it back 3 times total and called AoA to get it fixed!

Default If you look right in front of and underneath the P-steering

resevoir you can see a black hose which protudes up from the washer tank. Check to make sure that this hasn't worked itself loose and that the sleave it fits into isn't cracked. You will have to remove the plastic cover piece to get a good look.

Mine had pulled up and out a little b/c the sleave was all cracked. Dealer fixed it but i could have fixed it myself easily (and did for several weeks by pushing it back down into the tank and then duct tapping the sleave around it...

Just a thought.

Default IF YOU ARE USING MISTERS AND HAVING THIS PHANTOM PROBLEM click here......

The pump for the headlight washers must be perpendicular to the vehicle when replacing the resivior other wise the pupm sits and pushes against the support frame causing it to leak when installed, but not when out of the car cause there is no pressure against that fitting. This is annoying cause like i said when you take the resivior out it does not leak. If you take out the left headlight you can see what i mean.

Default There's a good Tech article on this... :)

I guess I was lucky. Mine broke, I took it in, and they fixed it no problem. Mine was the High Pressure headlight pump...

I nicknamed the icon on my dash display, "The Fountian of Youth"...

I don't know why....
