WOT and power dies at the top of 3rd 6K rpm no smoke no turbo whine..
leting her cool off before I check any hoses and about to do a vag. Any ideas? All hoses look to be fine on first inspection cept right side hose off the top of the DV is sucked in on the bottom side.

Stg 2 borla xdoritos full Samco cept on IC's 710n's, optima and other non engine crap.........
sad thing is I was about to smoke a riced out civic when it died,... :-(

Sounds to me like you popped off a diverter valve hose.
Happened to me the day I got chipped. Lost all power, sounds like what you're explaining. It happened to me at the top of 2nd gear.

Possibly, if they're old vavles. Could be a huge tear in the TBB, or it COULD be the turbos.
I've heard of them going out like that with no smoke on anything, just sudden power loss.

update: after finding no leaks up top i started her up only to see white smoke when reved.....
this happens when a lower IC hose comes off as well but you usually don't get very far. So i'm thinking it's a slighly fvcked hose or daddy's gettin some new turbos... :-)
