Would something like this be sufficient for pressure testing my intake system?

don't use the regulator, look at your boost gauge to see how many psi it push in

Good idea BUT use the regulator to keep the pressure close to the desired level.

Default Should work fine; I have heard of a person using the Motive Power Bleeder from ECS before.

Got a good laugh from that one.

Default I have that thing.. but using for pressure test would be a workout:)

It's great for bleeding brakes and clutches.

The problem with small compressors is the airflow rate. The air escapes from the engine pretty fast, so you need a compressor with a decent cfm rating. It's like trying to pump a bicycle tire up that has a hole in it.. big workout

I bought a 26 gallon Campbell Hauser compressor, model WL651500AJ, from Lowes for a couple hundred. It's rated at 6.5scfm at 40psi. If I'm pressure testing and the motor starts running, it keeps running the entire time I'm air testing. I turn the motor off so I can listen for boost leaks while the pressure in the tank slowly drops.

My compressor model isn't coming up on the lowes website. It's a standard sized comressor with two wheels at one end. The best thing is you can lift it to the vertical position to take up less space.

Best of luck to whoever uses the bicycle pump or brake bleeder
