Would torn TBB or F-HOSE show as DTC on VAG?? Thanks, last post about this....

"maybe" is the correct answer here. It depends on lots of things, including the size of tear....
VAG-COM might show you a long time to spool (actual boost not matching requested boost, etc).
As suggeted, check the duty cycle on the waste gate, as well.

Not sure about the DTC, but the VAG will detect it, as it did mine.
I am the first to admit, I know how to drive my car and drive it hard, but when comes to VAG codes, ect. I am not the one to post.

Well that's a hard one..
The manual says 2-55% is normal. But when you chip or whatever I'd imagine that would shoot up. Also your altitude would make the turbos spin more so more duty time.
Assuming Stock chip I'd go with the manual. I'd be interested to see what it is with a chip, maybe I can find one laying around and do some testing..
Anyway it's datablock 114. I'd test by checking 115 and seeing what's requested and what's given. Then follow up and see how hard the turbos are working. Again this goes out the window with a chip. I'd also check the mixture, not sure of the block, I image a leak would lead to a rich condition..
