Several people I know think that the problem with kids these days is because there are no parents at home to teach kids how to behave correctly. Kids are taught by a TV not by a parent. When Mom was always at home there was always guide lines and rules ... ("wait till your father gets home" was one of the worst phrases I heard as I child). I have even heard one of them say everybody wants so much stuff they can't afford to have one parent stay home they need 2 incomes to afford all of the crap they have (he drives a 1990 Honda).
