... I *still* suck at braking. That is all.

Default Couldn't squeeze it in. Maybe in January when I'm back I'll be able to swing it.

Don't worry, I still love you

Default Do you think.......

the military "gi bill/college fund" would pay for that? I've still got that $50k to burn on "school"!

Default How much does it cost to round trip a car to CA from the east coast?

Honestly I have no idea. I will be in SF the week of Jan 12-16 so the Thunderhill thing isn't totally out of the question. Hmmmm <grabs wallet and winces .... begins formulating explanation for wife>

Default Why not? You get a "diploma" and everything

And it is a total hoot. This is the third class I've done with those guys. And there will be a fourth.

Default My RS4 ICs are in now as well

But with the cool weather, and the fact I haven't been driving much since the install, I haven't noticed much difference. Not that I was expecting to until the summer. I think that may be all for me in terms of mods (I've looked into misters but Speedsport never got a quote to me and now I don't live near their shop anymore). It's such a great ride the way it is now, I don't really have any desire to change anything.

Also, I'm beginning to plot getting a track car. Something light and cheap, miata maybe. I did the racing school in part to think about whether I wanted to get a car that would fit the specs for a race series, but with my brake modulation skills (or lack thereof) the world is a safer place with me not going wheel to wheel with anybody :-)
