and for all the help you've been to me personally. I would like to argue this in a civil manner. Traction an issue? Traction causing low trap speeds? Generally speaking, if a car is losing traction, the trap speed will usually be higher than on a pass where the car hooked and ET'd well. Your claims of 700-800whp (?) amount of horsepower in an AWD car with 275 road slicks on, should definitely not see traction issues passed second gear. My last drag project was a fwd 97' gti vr6, made 675whp and 600 ft lbs in a 2000 lb chassis. Imagine trying to hook in that? The car would consistently trap 140+ regardless of traction issues. I have even put 225 crap nitto DR's on that car when it was making 550whp and trapped well over 130 spinning basically 3/4 down the track. There is more to this, and im not making any claims because i dont know what the issue is.
That said, i am psyched to see that you guys are building a drag dedicated car.. I look forward to seeing some sick results.
