No, and I race one all the time......
Friend of mine has an '02 WRX and up to 60 we're about even (He and I are both stock). After 60 I start to pull pretty good. Over 80 I'm jogging away... Both of us are pretty good drivers as well, so you can rule out driver factor....

A WRX passed most Audis at Waterford Hills, MI...
...during a quattroclub driving school last year. However, I'm not aware that the same individual drove an S4, which might be the only fair comparison. And, mind you, this was not racing, road or drag.

We had a discussion about this earlier
I think that the consensus was that they are about even stock. Now start piling on the mods and there will definitely be a spanking! From whom? Who knows....haven't really seen any heavily modded WRXs (personally). Guys, any input on this?
