I just took delivery of one tire today for my mothers BMW 528. The tire is a Dunlop 2000E (OEM for the sport package). I first noticed that the shoulder contact blocks seems worn down a little, then I noticed that the little numbs that come with new tires were all missing? Is this the way Dunlop does it, or is something going on? It is very subtle... almost looks like a "refurbished" tire. Anyone have this ever happen to them? This is BS if so.

no but really i would call them and ask if it is a standard thing. that does not sound normal at all. I know when i gto my new tires there we no lil nubs either....but the worn blocks are sketchy for sure........i say first step call them, second step take the tire to a local dealer and see if they have any you can compare it to.
good luck
