WTF is wrong with Dealers? Just fix it! Rant Inside:

So my S4 is under CPO until summer.
This is the 3rd time I've had it back to the dealership (which I typically have good luck with and has a good reputation) to fix the same exact complaint - burning oil smell and small amounts of smoke, on warm up, driver's side.
First they did the valve cover gasket. Same problem. Then they did both cam chain tentioner seals (R&L). Same issue.
So I take it back to them last night. Tell them to let it sit overnight, start it up, pop the hood and wait for the smoke and buring oil smell and then bloody fix it!
They call back today, can't find anything of course and want to pressure test the coolant system and add power steering fluid? WTF!?
I'll admit I'm not ASE certified, but after years of racing, tuning, crashing, and working on motorcycles and wrenching on many of my own vehicles, I know what the funk buring oil smells like!
Jeezus, I even told them that I was under the car and could see drips of oil on stuff on the driver's side ...
I mean it's CPO, they get paid no matter what they do ... JUST FIX IT!
Sorry ... rant over ...

a radiator that had a small hole, no questions asked ...
Motor mount was leaking, they did both of them, just to be safe ...
So I've been pretty pleased with them thus far ... but I'm aggrivated now.

gizoogle using key words, baby powder oil leak, and see what you get. Old school trick for finding oil leaks.
Although, a competent shop should know how to find leaks.
Good luck.

not that close (it's toward the front of the motor).
most likely is the rear cam seal (under the alum cap) and the cam plug , under the coolant tank. you 'll see trace of oil going down to the lower rear edge/corner and drip RIGHT ON on the many ..in that very corner
might want to track the leak yourself .. to double check the cover gasket run your hand around the lower edge of the head (top deck) and see what spot is wet..
