vibrations at highway speeds. Everything was fine before the new tires, so I'm wondering if I got bad tires or if it was just shoddy work by the dealer.
Should I take the car elsewhere or just eat the 300 bucks for wheel grinding?

Most likely = bad balance. If you have aftermarket wheels, some people have difficulty balancing. Wheels probably did not go bad simultaneoulsy with new tires.
