Default Why the Turbos are exploding!

The turbo runs on an oil film and additionally by an oil cooler is cooled. there is the error: the turbo leaves itself mixed the oil into the elbow union whereby it with gasoline. If the elbow union becomes too hot, the mixture explodes and the auto comes up in to flame!

Default HOLY CRAP! Where is this elbow? It should be designed the same on the S4, no?

I know the K04's bearings run on a thicker oil film than the K03's do. Does this impact anything?

Default excuse me?

Lance?

where did he mention AMS or Abt, in his post?

I find your comment off-color and misleading

he seems to be relaying a message from his contact in germany

that implies, there is a problem with the RS4 KO4 as spec'd by AudiAG and built by tripleK

if you have some ACTUAL PROOF, that we are selling "souped up KO3's", and calling them KO4's

please, present it

otherwise I would appreciate if these ridiculous claims would stop

the Abt turbo's sold by AMS, are Custom KO4's (Kay -Oh- FOUR),
built BY tripleK, FOR Abt gmbh. to Abt's Specification

and not "off-the shelf" KO4's from Audi or TripleK

which BTW, seem to be the subject of TaxiDriver's post, in case that was over-looked
