Default Yes, MJT...

You need the terminals if you are going to use a standard auto cable to connect it.

You need the metal jacket if you are going to install the battery in the front of the car (which I would do if you install a PC680 but maybe not if you go for the PC925). The reason is to protect the battery from heat.

I would say if you don't keep it in the front then heat is less of an issue and you can probably avoid the metal jacket.

Doesn't it start the car and give power to electronics? Why does it kick *** - just a battery right?
