No, do your own research. Don't take shortcuts and use other people's work for your personal gain.
Unless you're willing to compensate them for it, don't use someone elses work as a shortcut to make a profit.
It's the same as a musician doing a cover of an old song. Permission must be asked of the original artist to do the cover and there are royalties involved.

That's the whole point. You can shortcut, but you must pay the man for his work.
Or at least get his permission to use it. Otherwise, you're just stealing.
Obviously you're not going to pay him for his own research you just want to take it. It's an ethical issue. Something you must learn if you plan to do any type of business or enter into a professional field.
If you want to use his model, why don't you email X-1 and ask him. Maybe he'll be happy to give it to you.
