Default X Chiped S4 vs C32 AMG

Last night at the weekly Thursday night KK GTG, a lot of cars showed up. We had a diversity of BMW,Audi,VW,Mercedes. At around 11:30pm we all decided to go racing. We first arrive at the first location and the S4 raced the AMG C32 two times. Both times the S4 pulled off the line and remained ahead.

For the 3rd and final race, the C32 drive swapped, but the result remains the same... C32 once again lost.

Closest race was the C32 loosing by a good 2 1/2 Cars. Worst was about 4-5 Cars.

S4 is a 2000 w/ XChip and a custom exhaust. Its a 6spd.

Default Was the S4 a tip?

Cause a 320HP 6-spd vs. a 350hp automatic hardly seems fair.

Default Dukar going to test drive an M-coupe tomorrow for kicks....

if I like it a lot, anything i should look for on the car. It's on a lot with as-is no warranty check on its box...makes me a bit nervous. they want 31K for it.

Thanks

Default Doesn't that C32 run to 60 in just under 5secs ?

It's got decent tq too from what I've read. What does the x-chip push us upto?

Default i believe it

had a fun run with a lady driving a black c32 from stanford the other day..

from sand hill road, not much, but i could tell she like to drive a little fast and didnt like that i was keeping with her...

so, on the 280 onramp, a nice 360 entrance, she tried to take it a little to fast but couldnt handle it as she had to slow down... as the ramp straightened up, i zoomed passed and she followed. once we both got on it, not much else but keeping the same distance.

never got a chance to go all WOT, but it was fun.

Default I think your referring to the SLK32.

Those are up to par with the 315 M Roadsters. Not bad for an automatic if you ask me.

Default What year?

If its the older 240 hp model, then your safe. Those motors are very strong. Just drive the car and make sure there arent any noises.
