So on the nice 4 1/2 drive back from Santa Barbara, 2 hours of which was in complete darkness, I noticed that the left light ends sooner than the right, or is lower, so it has a Z shape where the two lights meet in the middle.
So I saw some others are having this problem. The left side doesn't seem to shine into oncoming traffic as much, and the right was slightly higher allowing me to read road signs easier, is this intentional? Should I get them adjusted?

I believe the feature is by design. Xenon headlights have self-levelling, a pretty neat sounding feature. If I'm not mistaken though, this feature is actually required *by law* for xenon headlights (I assume due to their intensity) and not just for gadget satisfaction. Presumably, this feature would be for the safety (not blinding) of oncoming drivers. So, the limited illumination of the left headlight would seem to support this approach the xenon headlamps.

Was just at the dealer this morning regarding this. My left light was lower. The dealer said this is intentional, but raised the left light a bit for me. It just didn't see to light the road far enough ahead. I'll let you know if people are constantly flashing their brights at me now.
