XPOST: Full-serve fill-up with 87 & added octane boost. Other than a waste of $
....do I have anything to worry about?
I don't figure since it's only 1 tank.
Thanks in advance.
BTW, car is 00 S4, Stage 2. (Sig will come one of these years)<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/canada/msgs/76589.phtml">Oops 87</a></li></ul>

Octane booster has a minimal impact on the octane level in the gas.
Probably around a 1 pt difference on a full tank. So theoretically, 4 bottles will get you up to 91 octane, which is roughly what the CA residents get.
Personally, I'd just run through the tank without any aggressive driving. Assuming it's not hot out, and you're not pushing the engine, you won't have an issue. When you refill with premium, continue to drive granny style for about 40 miles, then you can resume normal driving.
