Just flip open the "cage" that holds the pads in. This takes 2 seconds if you get a good grip on it the first itme with pliers.
Insert flat head screwdriver into slot. Pry. Remove pads.
Insert new pads.
Close cage.
Done.
The rears are the PITA that require a tool. But I'd just leave those in.
Seriously 10 mins a side from the time you jack the car up, until you place it down with new pads installed.
