Default Yesterday's humorous encounter

Heading home yesterday from downtown Annapolis, as I entered the US Route 50 ramp from the right, a new 911 entered from the left slightly ahead of me. I caught up on the ramp and as we entered the expressway, he took off mildly; when he noticed I was still with him he really took off and I followed. As he took the exit to route 2 at significant extralegal speeds, I stayed right behind him. We both slowed for the red light a quarter of a mile up the road and as we waited for it to turn green, he said" What is that? Good thing I got the porsche before I ran into you or my wife would have made me buy one of those!" (Imola Avant) We both laughed and went our separate ways ... but it reminded me how much I enjoy this car!

Default yes it is..thanks...its Stage 1+

19lbs of boost and getting ready for Stage II. Not bad for a car with 150,000 miles on her, just getting broken in. AJ is the basset hound, he loves riding in the Audi, but I hate when he leaves hair all over.

Default There is no such thing as a new 911

you must mean a 996. :-P

Just think how well you could do if you had a suspension!

Default Heheheh, too true.

I'm lovin' mine finally being back on the road. Although the 8mpg I'm getting is starting to hit the wallet pretty hard.

I gotta find someone local who can tune webers, I have to assume I'm running rich.

Default I'm not too sure we get much better mileage

If you want good MPG, EFI is the way to go. I don't think I could ever give up the great sound of the carbs. Too cool.

Glad the car is running. Sometime when I am up north visiting my mother I'll have to drop by and see your car.

My parents have a basset hound, that thing doesn't get near the interior of my car
