first of all bmw and MB arent in the same class. MB and audi are in the same class being as they are both purpose built, indestructable, daily driven, sporty sedans. bmw ( in all its infinite wisdom) decided to tune a car to the max without using FI... which is good and bad. the cars are great from the factory, but lack customizing options. audi and mb are NOT tuned to the max from the factory, and they wipe the floor with bmw. lets compare the b6 s4 to the e46 m3... s4 wins. lets compare the same amount of money spent on a b5 s4 vs. an e46 m3... b5 destroys the m3. im talkign about a sligtly modded s4 ( which still beats the m3, and costs much less) not a stage III s4( that one... well you cant be that dumb, but it still costs less)

shall we go to larger cars? rs6&gt;m5, e55&gt;m5 rs6&gt;e55...

bigger?? a8L&gt;7series anything Sclass&gt; 7 series anything

not convinced? the a8l was rated the most luxurious car in the world under 200k 1 or 2 years ago, and the new one is even better.

bmw= bangle crap.

dont get me wrong, i like the m3 and m5, but i would buy its audi or MB counterpart anyday over the bmw.
