it takes a few minutes for the dash and radio to warm up and the display lights work correctly. when everything warmed up this is what i saw. i know it's not as cold as some of you in vermont or further north, but i feel for you.

(as yes i know taking pictures while moving is not a great idea.)

Default I agree, taking pics while moving is not a great idea...

Where are you located that you saw the -2F today? I think the lowest I saw today was 0F in CT/MA. Yesterday was -4F.

Here's a new photo from last night:

Default I know - it won't happen again.

It's my usual stretch of highway testing grounds as it's perfectly flat and straight. Well, last night as I was taking the curve that leads into it, I could see that there absolutely no cars at all on it (the only time I "test"). The roads were cold, but dry and free of salt/sand/etc. So I dropped it to 5th and leisurely put my foot to the floor. Same in 6th. I didn't even flip open the LCD screen of the camera. I just sorta held it up in the general area and pressed the button while keeping my eyes on the road. It wasn't until later that I opened up the camera to see if I had even taken a pic at all. Sure enough, it worked I then crop'd it to size. But yeah, no reason to do that again.

Doing the math for an 840 rev a mile tire and your rpm, your speedo is really close
