I have adjusted my MY16 S6 rear view mirror to cover the full rear window but every few days or so when I get in the car the mirror seems to have sagged and only covers about half the rear window and half the rear seats. The car is just three months old and it is really annoying that almost every other time I get back in the car I have to readjust the rear view mirror. Has anyone else out there problems with the rear view mirror holding its position?

Yup... this happens to me as well, it's definitely a defect, I'm planning on having Audi fix it soon. Now that I have a second person saying it's happening to them as well, that makes me feel much better.
While we are on the subject about possible defects, my Alarm "Chirp" (to confirm Lock) is going silent, I thought it was me being too critical, but now sometimes it is so silent I can barley hear it being 4 Feet front the hood. Any one else having or have had that issue?

FWIW, my car is 6 moths old now (9,400miles) and the only issue I've had is with the pre-sets on the radio. It's pretty frustrating, and unfortunately, one of the few poorly designed aspects of the car...as far I'm concerned. The other annoyances are adjusting the fan speed, and how the short-term memory (trip computer) resets it's self. I would rather have the control to do that myself.

Interesting... on my '13 the mirror is tight enough that I need 2 hands to adjust it in a controlled manner.
The lock chirp is still going strong on mine. For some reason, i am thinking that the chirp was a setting so you might check into that.

I never had an issue with my mirror, until I had to get my windshield replace. I am now going on my third replacement in less than 2 weeks because the mirror will not stay on and the local Audi dealer has not been helpful at all. Very frustrating and disappointing.
