These numbers are essentially irrelevant, since the timing and boost numbers allowed by 100 octane fuel are far removed from the 91 or 93 octane reality mere mortals are stuck with. To be kind, I guess it does show that the drivetrain won't (immediately) grenade with ludicrous amounts of power and torque.

I wish APR would stop with the whole peek-a-boo act and just release the charts they already have in their hands. Owners are already champing at the bit, so this marketing exercise is completely unnecessary.

Not sure whether it is marketing or a cat and mouse, misinformation game with other tuners. Either way, cut the crap and release the tune.

And where, pray tell, do you get 100 octane from a pump?

I'd like to see the charts for both 91 and 93 octane runs.

And get the forum's take on what will happen if you bring your 'S' into the dealer for a new clutch or tranny under warranty, and they hook their scan tool up.

Actually, they seem to have charts with 93 octane gas farther down with the numbers greyed out.

Looks like torque would come out about 540 ft lbs if the gridlines are the same.

Not too shabby!

On AZ - Aaron posted that if the car is reflashed back to stock by the APR dealer before every service and visit to the dealership - the dealership will never be able to see the tune existed.

Corvette guys thought the same thing. CANBUS keeps track of mods to software.

The local 76 gas station a couple miles from my home/work. The down side is that it's ~$10/gallon.

It is my understanding that scan tools can keep track of the numer of flashes on an ECU. So unless there is an explanation like a software update, a suspect car will have two extra flashes it can't explain (one unflash and one reflash).

It would be nice to have an invisible flash, but don't see it worth the risk. The MM act won't save you in too many circumstances either.

All else equal, it's really just a "because I can" mod. And not as bad as that sleeper S8 that pulls alongside you at a traffic light. Will just have to suffer with a kickass stock S6. A disappointment I can live with.
