Default Broken Seal on Headlight - '13 S6

Has anyone experienced a broken seal on the headlight of a 2013 S6? Took delivery 10 days ago or so and after 4-5 days of wet and humid weather in the northeast, I noticed condensation inside one of my headlights. Guess I'm headed back to the dealer-- pretty annoying.

This is a common property of Audi headlights. I believe they are vented so there's always an entry port for moisture.

So does that mean it's a 'just live with it' kinda thing??

See what the dealer says about the condensation.

All head lights have vents to prevent the seals from blowing out when they heat up.

ive driven ny car through rain a few times and left it outside through a 2-3 day storm, never had a fogging or condensation in my lights yet.

I ran my Q5 through the car wash and one light was foggy. It didn't last long. I called the dealer and they said their is ventilation. Makes sense since the lighting is pretty sophisticated and needs to cool.

Also, if you have LED headlights, there's an integrated fan blowing air to cool each of the two the light assemblies.
(Part # V407).

Good to know...I 'let' the boys talk me into the LED option, and frankly wondered about cooling.

They are exceptional, and I also like the nearly 180 spread of the fog lights.

For now, this issue appears to have gone away. Going to keep an eye on it.
