If you are waiting for your ordered 2014 Audi and you live in the NE U.S. you just might see your car here.
These photos were taken on 6/22/13 at the VW/Audi port facility in Davisville, RI. I saw at least a thousand Audi and VW cars that had been offloaded car container ships awaiting processing by Norad, customs and loading on car carriers and trains to dealers. Pretty awesome sight in person.
Davisville is the port of entry for VW, Audi and Porsche to the NE United States.

Wow, very cool. I believe my 2014 was delivered to Houston as I live in the Midwest. Set to arrive early next week. Excited and hoping she arrives in perfect condition. I told my dealer I wanted NO decals added to the car and that I would be very critical of the prep detailing they do ( specifically looking for paint swirls ).
Any other advice or thoughts on what to request and or look for on new car pick up day?
Thanks!

If you zoom in on Google Maps, you can see the cars lined up in lanes to be loaded in the carriers. Click on the map title to get to the real map.
The facility is on the west side of the bay just to the north of the airport at Quonsett Point. Look for the two large docks.

As I recall, last year, Audi had an "official" release for delivery date on C7's (the A6 at least) the first week of July. As a result, the first ships arrived in late June and the cars were offloaded, put through port processing and then held at the port until just before the "official" release date on truck carriers or train to dealers. According to a guy I know at AOA, mine was among very first A6s to release and since my dealer in SE MA is only an hour away from Davisville, mine was possibly the very first 2013 to be delivered in the U.S. in early July.
