Estoril Blue - Xpel or not?

When he touched up my hood, he did not really do as nice of a job as I could have in a rush. The paint takes time to cure and ended up shrinking into the hole. With a heat-gun or hair-drier, one could have rushed the process, and followed up with a second coat. Alas, the clear bra is over the chip and there's nothing I can do about it now... It is clearly noticeable through the Xpel, but at least it's blue and not the white undercoat color.
Long story short, there are people who specialize in chip repair. I was unable to find one however, and I was ready to do it myself using a kit. However due to the timing, I let Greg do it when he did the rest of the work to the car. In retrospect, I will be doing all chip repair myself from now on using the repair kit...
