Did not really want to get much further out than that as i think this will go a long way to a good stance and is well within the offset range on other cars with this suspension.

My 2cents... who knows what will happen... my airbags could blow up as soon as i put the spacers on. Just my little contribution to the community... we need to get the Mods rolling. I am always willing to be a guinea pig, almost a character flaw.

LOL!! The only thing that will happen is your car is going to look even better than it already does!

That would be the desired outcome...

If you don't mind Term Non., Where did you order and how much were they? Also, maybe post some pics and let us know what differences you notice. Mine is still 2 months out so I can only consider mods.

Happy to share.

I ordered from Achtuning. The price was about $80 per set. Really good people at that shop. Figured I would try H&R products until i get the sizing right.

Once i have some pics and impressions I'll let you know.

Ok well... they are on... All fits well and nothing has fallen off or started to self destruct...but there is still time.

That said, Even 10mm front/12mm rear is pretty conservative looks wise. You could easily go out another 5mm or more to get the wheels flush. For my purposes though this is pretty close to my goal. Luckily it also coincides with my comfort level on spacers. I actually think if the suspension was 1/2 inch lower my desire for aftermarket wheels would be nil. I love the stock 20" looks and they are now filling out the fender a little better.

Sorry for the crappy iphone pics of a dirty car in a weed ridden driveway. I'll wash it in a couple of days and take some proper photos.

Thanks Terminal Nonchalance! That really makes it look better. Notice any difference in the handling/susp.? Also, could you post a pic from a side view of the car?

Hey, at least you can see the ground. Here it's all white and currently at about -40 with windchill. Brrrrrr!

No real tangible difference in handling. My main beef with this car is the body roll and as much as i would love spacers to squash that... i am not delusional yet. I'll post some pics after a wash.. Work keeps getting in my way!

Yeah... It was a comparatively balmy 62 here today. Wish i could send some of the sunshine and warmth your way... but you have quattro... you'll be fine.

I just came back from a 90-minute drive to nowhere in particular (you know, to hasten the break-in procedure). Other than a little low-speed understeer, this car is dynamite in the slippery stuff. I guess it doesn't hurt that I'm running studded Hakkas either.

I picked the car up a couple of weeks ago and i'm already at 1079 miles... you need to drive more, or move to a more hospitable climate.

Happy Motoring!

Mike
