Default Glare with Brushed Aluminum

Considering a quartz gray, comfort seats, innovation, carbon fiber with brushed aluminum. The overhead sun was causing some significant glare for a brief while on a test drive.Had sunglass'on. On the fence now about the brushed aluminum and replacing with carbon fiber is prohibitive. How has living/driving/appearance with brushed aluminum been for you?

I have the brushed aluminum and have never experienced glare. It's not a problem that I would worry about, long-term.

Never a problem. It is matte so should have no glare.

I can't imagine too much of an issue with brushed aluminum interior trim. However, I experience glare/undesirable reflection on the inside of the windshield from the sun reflecting off the HUD projector unit on the dash! Sometimes I look right past it, other times it frustrates me!

Me too. Seems to be reflecting off the edges of the glass on the HUD. I wonder if a narrow strip of some shadowline tape around the edges would fix the issue.

I occasionally get glare too, but it's from the plastic "border" of the HUD.

That's exactly what it is.
