My first tank = 17.1mpg in city driving. No launch control. It's an elegant car, and I drive it that way.

Just completed a 950 mile trip from Portland to SoCal. My driving style is not exactly conducive to fuel economy, I floored it at every on ramp and our cruising speed was 70-80. I was amazed to get 26.1 MPG. This kind of performance and comfort, and efficiency? Hats off to the Audi engineers, this is a great car.

That's kind of what I'm hoping for. Accepting mileage in the teens in stop-and-go traffic (it is a V8!), and seeing about EPA estimates for more judicious highway mileage. I doubt I'll ever see 30mpg unless I'm going downhill with my foot off the throttle.

Well i still have not done highway driving to get the most out of it.... Last checked it was 16-20 with consistent city driving and may be 10% highway...

Frankly i am more worried about being pulled over than MPG...

that said, with winter mix gasoline blend i can tell u right away that i will see almost 1-2 mpg more when summer arrives

27MPG highway should be easy, (i hope)

Thought I'd add a pic as proof.
