Hey guys,
Really digging being part of this forum/community, I'm learning so much everyday. I am picking up my car tomorrow and I was presented with some options from my dealer that I would love your expertise on. For some background, I am a first time new car owner, plan on having my S6 for a long time, and drive in New England (harsh weather and bad roads/potholes). Anyhow, the search functionality doesn't work today for some reason so I couldn't search to find relevant information. Most of you guys will realize this is pretty novice stuff, especially when guys are talking about tuning their S6's, but I don't have any where else to go to for advice, so many thanks in advance. I have no experience with any of the companies/services listed below, but they are the options I was presented with. Hope this can serve as a guide for future first time S6 buyers one day as well.

1. Audi Care - **Already purchased this, seemed like a no brainer**
2. Simoniz - $695 - "Interior and Exterior protection that includes fabris, paint and vinyl/leather protection." **Sounds decent enough, but again, no experience with this company/service. How reliable will the coverage be? This is truly a concern I should have?**
3. CareGard Wheel and Tire - $995 for five year coverage - "Repairs or replaces tire and wheel due to damage from road hazards" **This sounds like an amazing deal. for $995 I potentially get any dents from potholes covered. Thoughts?**
4. LoJack - $695 ($995 for Early Warning) - "Police stolen vehicle recovery system that uses a hidden transceiver to send a signal to police that allows them to track and recover your vehicle" **Will pass on this**
5. MaxGuard - $395 for one year coverage ($695 for five years) - "Paintless dent removal that restores dings, dents and creases. Interior appearance care covers the repairs of damage to the interior cabin area"
6. Vehicle Protection Plan **Pass because I am looking at the extended warranty option. I know it's a broad topic, but general thoughts on this? Again, no search working tonight"
7. VentureShield - $695 - "Protects high-impacted painted surfaces. Lifetime warranty against peeling, discoloration, and fading" **Sounds decent enough, probably my second favorite option to CareGard if that turns out to be a reliable service/company"
Thanks again,
Tony

Question on Audi Care: My understanding is it covers the Sched. Maint. costs for the 15,25,35 & 45K service and costs around $850. Is there anything scheduled other than Oil and Filters on those services?

Thanks S5blitzer, It looks like oil and filter except at 35k when they change the air filter, Ribbed V Belt, spark plugs and trans fluid. That would add up at a dealer. But not sure it's worth the ~$850 up front.
