So yes, it will cover it but its not blocking it from working. I have a concealed display by my instrument cluster so that is what I look at anyway for any alerts.

So the V1 protrudes (width) past the left edge of the mirror? From your picture it looks like the V1 almost would clear the visor? I'll have to look at my C5 closer because I didn't think my V1 would fit between the mirror and headliner like that! IIRC, the C5 visor also has a protrusion towards the center - plus the little flip-down center mini-visor but I'd write that off in a heartbeat.

Does that fitment change with the lane assistance system? Isn't that camera up by the rear view mirror?

I was half-thinking of mounting V1 just below the mirror - but it becomes super-obvious there

for the life of me i cannot find a switched ignition fuse. i saw 2 suggestions and tried them both. No luck. It looks like you hardwired your v. what fuse did you use? I got the add a circuit.

I used the homelink fuse. That is switched for sure.

stupid thing #2 today. i didnt realize i had to put 2 fn fuses in the "add a circuit". LMAO. Now we are good to go. On and off with the push button.

Here, this might be easier. It's the 10th slot down.

You have to lose the pink ring otherwise won't fit.
