Hey guys, does lowering the car 17mm make a dramatic change in the camber? I would expect the rear to be the most dramatic camber change. Would this warrant an alignment after lowering? Or has Audi designed the geometry of the suspension to minimize camber changes through the wide range of ride heights?

That's a great quoestion and I was going to re-ask it. In a previous post where I asked, HyperS4 asked his tech and he mentioned he would align in the mode that you drive the most.

I had the same baseline lowering performed on my Porsche with PASM (air suspension). My dealer's tech suggested I realign with the new suspension changes and in the mode I was going to be driving in - lowered. The recommendations from others on 6Speedonline forum was to align after lowering because of the increase in negative camber when lowering.

Yes it does, the car have to be realigned in the dynamic mode.
