Hyper. You have the coveted codes?

I've been fooling around with no luck. Let me know if what you do works.... Maybe we could work something out. (Evil grin)

Getting a little cagey for so early in the morning

Anyhoo.... Let us know when your car has more difficulty clearing parking curbs and and has to enter driveways at odd angles.

As always Hyper.... Thank you for furthering the community. Back in the S4 days you were a huge help and early adopter.

Mike.

Now it feels like flashback from the past, my bi-turbo S4 days...

Thanks Mike. Always willing to put my cars under the knife for the community. If I can break it first, then its a good thing to learn from for everyone. If I can fix it first, then I can pave the way.

Just don't go crazy and end up with a car looking like this.

I just got confirmation that this could litterally be a 10 minute job. Going to try this sometime within the next few days.... Stay tuned.

The process in VAG-COM should be no different than the published process for the other cars with air suspension. I found the same blocks in the S6 that were referenced in the other procedures. The missing element is the security code to allow one to modify the values.

And thanks for looking into this for the community!

I don't get why anyone wouldn't share the codes, except to make money off of less educated owners. I could see charging 1 hour labor, anything more than that is price gouging.

Thankfully, the codes will eventually come out and this will be free for anyone with a VAG.

I'm ready to try it, did it on a D3 A8. Took about 20 minutes start to finish.
