I think he means an actual drop kit. I think you need them to go lower than an additional 20mm. All I want to do is drop mine another 15, not asking for much. Why do they make this so complicated. Its like they dont want normal people messing around with the computer systme or something...

Links are extensions added to the mount for the auto leveling lever that fool the car to think it is higher than it is thereby making the ecu lower it.

If you go to your dealer it's done in 10 minutes.
If you want to do it with VCDS you have to wait.
It's a new controller, and they have to figure out how to code it.

all other lowering modules and links to fool the ecu are not my thing.
Hopefully Ross Tech wil fitgure it out soon.

Greetings.

on every corner theres a linkage hooked up to a sensor, swapping the link out by either extending or shortening it will make the car lower or raise. bascally its tricking the sensor, it works and is cheap if you do it by urself. ive lowered my mb's this way before and nothing bad happened nor did anything break. the car will still lower and raise through mmi but will not go as high as stock would. i talked to my service guy he said they'll lower the car for me for around $400 and said something like they wont lower it more than 20 mm

HyperS4, At a certain cruising speed(60mph?)the car lowers a preset amount. Do you know how much that is? Maybe it's possible to change that threshold speed to zero or a negative value on the return to normal height threshold.

This is what I would like. I want to car to remain at the low height at all times.

I read somewhere that on other Audis with adjustable height suspension, when you go into VAG to offset the normal height, that the auto lowering will lower your car even further at speed. This would be an issue for folks who have lowered to the minimum height to prevent rubbing.

I have not seen any place to adjust the speed at which the car lowers so not sure if this is a viable method.

If you put the drive select into dynamic mode, the suspension will drop from the static height about 20mm. The car however stays at this height at any speed.

If you leave the car in comfort or auto, at 72mph, the car will lower the additional 20mm to match the dynamic level.

I just keep my car in dynamic all the time so it keeps the lower stance and the nicer steering and ride. I do keep my transmission in D though until I want to rip on it, then I pop it in S.

My car is in dynamic all the time. It goes up and down like a hooker at Mardi Gras. It's down most of the time, but when parking or backing up it goes up. I can hear the bladders release air when the car is shut off and then it lowers. I will park the car in the garage and the suspension is up a bit, then in the morning when I go out it's down. I just want one height please!
