Default Turbo coolant leak

Anyone else have their turbos leak coolant?

Got a call from the dealer today after they finished the fuel line replacement that the turbo coolant lines are leaking at the turbos. Now we are waiting for Audi to tell them what to do. And they may need to send someone, which means I am stuck in the Passat loaner for a little while longer

It's a Audi/VW dealership...unfortunately. An A4 or A6 would be A LOT better! 5 Cyl Passat sucks and the last model was much better than the current.

I can't wait to get the S6 back.

So parts are ordered...hopefully they get here soon. Almost didn't get up a hill in the Passat in the storm the other day, the tires suck.

Once I know what they have done I will update.

How many miles do you have? Also, I assume since the dealer pointed it out, it's not leaking to the point where you had any puddling when parking it, correct?

I had a leak a few months ago. The O-ring at the coolant return pipe of the right turbocharger was leaking. they replaced it. so far so good.

You are correct. And it wasn't enough where it used up too much oil (I am assuming it uses the engine oil to regulate the turbo temps). There also wasn't a burning smell coming from the engine compartment. And I have a little over 25,000 miles.

That maybe all mine is too. No word on what they had to order. That may be what I find out they had to replace as well.
