I don't own an S6 yet and am wondering what the button in the upper left does? It looks like a front foglight button with rain clouds printed on the button. Since the S6 does not have front fog lights, I'm stumped.

I believe the lower button on the left side with the light facing to the right is for the rear fog lights. I'm questioning the functionality of the upper button on the left.

If you have the LED headlights, the upper left button activates the front All Weather lights. If the headlights are set the Auto position, each of these lights will also come on automatically when making a turn - they point to the left or right. Starting with the 2012 C7, there are no front "fog lights".

The button activates the front cornering lights so you can always see what's to your left and right. I seem to recall the manual stating that this is for "inclement weather", thus the symbol with the cloud and rain.
If you don't turn this on by pressing the button, then the cornering lights activate by turning the wheel past a certain point.

Okay, so there are nine LED's in the headlights of the S6. When viewing them while off five LED's are clearly different in appearance than the other four. The five horizontal LED's from the grill outward aref two-chip and the four others, three vertical and one horizontal LED's are one-chiip LED's I believe all nine are on when headlights are on and I would guess that the four that are one-chip act as the all weather lights that illuminate more outwardly on both sides of the car when the switch is on and illuminate more outwardly as cornering lights when you make a turn in that direction while the switch is off. Do I understand this correctly?

Refer to the following PDF that shows the layout of the LEDs and what they do.

Can someone post pics of the cornering/all weather lights illuminated on their S6? I can only locate this pic of an "8" with the all weather/cornering light on. See last photo of five.
