Default Wheel Width

Considering ordering a set of wheels for my S6. However, I'm no wheel guru so I don't know anything about offsets and whatnot. So I was wondering how wide we can go? I was thinking of doing 21x10.5's in the front and 21x11's in the rear. If not, then I'd at least like to do 21x10.5 all around. The reason why I'd like my wheels to be wider is because wider means deeper concavity. And I'd like to have the most concavity possible. I know the offsets would definitely have a role in this as well, again I don't know anything about offsets. All I know is I'm not trying to run stretched tires or crazy offsets. And definitely not trying to go through tires every month. I'm function over form.

I'm running 20 x 9.5 HRE's with ET47 offset. When I was shopping they told me I could go as wide as 10, but I don't know if 10.5 is going to fit.

10.5 is possible, as I've seen it done on a C7A6, but you end up with rims that stick out past the fender and stretched tires.

At some point, going "ultra" wide can affect the designed handling geometry and stress on suspension components.

My HREs will be 21x9.5" ET40 with 265/30/21 Michelin Pilot Super Sports. You can go wider, but you'll start to run into limited choices for tire widths. Personally I'm not a fan of the stretched look...

Nice choice of wheels. What finish? I assume you were not able to go full SC because of the brakes, or does the 21" afford enough room in the concave format? I was not able to go SC with my 20" wheels for this reason.

Brushed Tinted Clear. I'm not expecting much (if any?) concavity due to the front brakes. I'll also be running the same offset/profile all around to keep them rotatable.

I'll post pics once they come in and are installed.
