2020 S6 Air Suspension Malfunction / Leak
Hi Audi Folks,
Have a 2020 S6 (~40k miles) - after getting back from our 10 day holiday break, noticed the front of the car was super low - almost no clearance in the wheel wells. Started up the car and of course it was very upset, throwing both an air suspension fault / malfunction code & a rear sport diff malfunction code (I assume triggered by the suspension issue). As you'd expect, once the compressor kicked back on, the front end came back up / re-inflated quickly and car drove great. It didn't take much time on this forum for me to realize there is a leak somewhere and I contacted the dealer (just had the car there for 2 weeks for a BSG failure). Dealer said they needed it back to fix / diagnose. They've been quite backed up and have been diagnosing the issue for over 2 weeks, at this point they think there is a slow leak (somewhere) and are replacing the valve block, control unit and likely both front struts.
Bad news: dealer says these parts are coming from Germany and we're looking at ~2 weeks.
Good news: car is under warranty and I got a loaner.
Have others been through something similar? What what your wait time for repair and the cause of the issue?
